Stephen Braybrook – aka ‘The Movement Man’ will be with us in April 2017 to teach his Brain-Move Workshop.
This workshop is an introduction to practical neuroscience and aims to provide some take home informational gems that you can use straight away.
Brain-Move uses the principles of evolutionary biology, developmental psychology and applied biomechanics to elicit safety through the subconscious mind and enable easy, fluid and pain free movement.
Listen to Dr Perry Nickelston interview Stephen on his Stop Chasing Pain Podcast.
Brain-move uses applied neuroscience, with the aim to put the body back into ‘safe’ mode.
By resetting the neurological buttons that tell the body it is safe, great things can happen, including:
- Increased flexibility
- Increased strength
- Increased range of motion
- Reduced muscle and fascia tightness
- Reduced pain and discomfort
- Increased power
- Increased coordination
- Increased balance
- Increased cognitive function such as concentration and focus.
The workshop is suited for movers from all backgrounds looking to improve their own performance and is also suitable as an introduction to the method for practitioners such as therapists and teachers who deal with human movement, bodywork and pain management including:
- Sports Therapists
- Massage/Fascia/Soft Tissue/Bowen Therapists,
- Personal Trainers
- Yoga/Pilates/Martial Arts practitioners and teachers.
The workshop runs from 11am – 5pm on Sunday 30th of April.
